This very popular annual trip seems to be a great draw for all levels of paddlers. We are now into the 11 year doing this and we’ve enjoyed perfect weather (most times), portage free paddling, and a social barbeque that has followed our outing. This is a wonderful day to enjoy an easy moving water river and to socialize with other WCA’ers. The trip will start in south Cambridge where we will put in and then paddle to Paris. We will pass through scenic farm country, negotiate some easy grade one water, and stop for lunch along the way. Those interested are welcome to join us back at our house in Cambridge for some food, beverage, and social time.

Please bring all your own equipment. Bring your lunch/snacks and water as there will be no where to get anything along the paddle! and it could be a long paddle - 3 to 5 hours depending on water levels and downed trees etc.
See you all at 10 am. Please call me if you are not going to make it - 647-983-0418

ARE YOU READY FOR ANOTHER EXPLORE ADVENTURE? Join me in exploring the hidden waterways of Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park. We will be travelling through classic Canadian Shield territory. On this trip we will opening up a new route north of Victoria Lake.
This is one of my favourite lake trips.
We will be travelling at a comfortable pace with two lay-over camp sites. Some planned activities include, climbing the Elephant, swim in Paradise Lagoon, explore Dougherty, and Frederick Lakes.
For meals, we plan for communal breakfasts and dinners. Lunches will be left to the individuals or partners. Although we are not on a provincial park, we would like to avoid disposable cans and bottles.
This is an ideal trip for intermediate lake water canoeists who are comfortable camping for this duration. Portages are easy to moderate. A few moderately steep climbs might be encountered.
As the guide book says, "Paddlers who choose this route will travel the entire west and central regions of the park. Recommended for experienced canoeists, this trip tours some of the most remote areas and spectacular landscapes that Killarney has to offer"
Flatwater canoe trip in Temagami Provincial Park for intermediate level paddlers. (Lake Temagami – Diamond Lake – Maple Mountain Hike - Lady Evelyn Lake)
