We will run the river on Saturday, camp on Saturday night, then do a second run on Sunday. Come for 1 day or both. Logistics to be worked out, but we will likely camp at Owl Rafting or Wilderness Tours. Rapids range from class 2-4 and most of the major rapids have easy scouting, portage trails and a pool at the end of each rapid to pick up swimmers and gear. We will run the middle or main channels pending group interest and water levels. Itinerary description

Meet Saturday at 10:30 am at the Owl rafting put-in near Beachburg ON, run shuttle and do a ~4-6 hour run down either the main or middle channel.
Camping on Saturday night at one of the rafting facilities.
Sunday - aim to be the river by 9AM and off the river by 3PM

Required Items to Bring

Whitewater canoe or kayak and gear. Helmets mandatory. Canoe and kayak flotation mandatory. Throw bag recommended.
Disclaimer -there are some very big waves and holes and tripping canoes are likely to become immediately swamped in some rapids. Recommend that canoes install bow, stern and middle flotation and bring an extra-large bailing container

Car camping gear, meals, on-river lunches. [Breakfasts or dinners may be available at Owl or Wilderness Tours pending our logistics]
