Buffalo river

The Buffalo River meanders through the Ozark mountains of northern Arkansas. It is a national scenic river and wilderness area with both established campgrounds and wild camping. We plan on paddling from Boxley to Buffalo city 143 miles.

Leave April 21
Carpool to put in Boxley about 16 1/2 hours from Toronto. To be decided by group
Paddle 15-23 miles per day dependent on river levels. There will be time to explore bluffs and caves and hikes to waterfalls and abandoned homesteads.
Take off river April 30
