Petawawa River Run “ Full”

Outing Type →

This trip is now Full!

Lake Travers to Lake McManus.  Popular whitewater run and very beautiful. Located in the north east corner of Algonquin Park.

Lots of information about this route online.  I put it down as intermediate but a competent flat water paddler making use of the portages would be fine.

Itinerary description

This trip is now Full!

I will leave in decent time Friday morning.  Take out Sunday afternoon.

This is maybe a bit more rushed than I want.  If work seems to be going well and the weather is nice I might stay Sunday night too.

Required Items to Bring

Whiter water gear, helmets, flotation, depending on the weather maybe dry suits or wetsuits.  I will make a spreadsheet if folks sign up.

Camping gear for backcountry.

A sense of gratitude for the holiday.

Recommended Items to Bring

Warm clothes, calories, your camping chair.

If a few people are coming it would be nice to have a potluck turkey dinner.

Giant Toblerone.
