An elegant feast in the wilderness - looking to open 3rd site

2019.04.13 - Hi the 2nd site is now closed. The next member will have to book and open a third site.
Let me know and I will help. Also due to recent privacy and security issues, I have removed my contact information. Most of you know it or someone who does. I am using the general WCA email until it is sorted out. I am not sure how much a delay this will cause.

2019.04.12 - Hi, the main campsite is now full. A second site under …. has opened and we will work together.

This is a social, canoe, luxury standing camping event. It is all about the feast on Saturday afternoon and evening. Yes, you will have to canoe 1.3 km in a straight line from the beach to the campsite and back.

Join us once again for the Turkey trip on Sherborne Lake in the Leslie Frost area of the Haliburton Highlands Water Trails system. We are on group campsite # 18.

This site is open to the first 16 members (membership has its privileges).
THEREFORE, YOU MUST SIGN-UP ON LINE TO VERIFY YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

In the past we have filled up very quickly within hours. However, to accommodate others, you can book your own site nearby on the lake. You and I can then fill the site with more friends or members as you see fit. I will cut off the bookings at 30 as in previous years. We can only hold that many around the main site.

What is provided. My team will cook a turkey in the trash can oven. We are also going to experiment on you with another protein dish.

What is requested. As this is an elegant feast, we ask you to bring and make, one or more gourmet appetizers, salads, side dishes or deserts to the canoe tables. If I can cook a turkey from scratch at camp, you can make a fantastic dish to go with it at camp too.

Itinerary description:

Friday, arrive, set-up, explore, collect fire wood, welcome arrivals.
Saturday, explore the lakes, collect fire wood, prep and start cooking. Feast and clean-up.
Sunday, explore area, left overs, pack, say good bye and head out home.

Fully out fitted canoe. PFD
You are required to supply all other food and drinks. And camping gear.
The main site will share group gear. Overflow sites will supply site gear.
