July 22, Inaugural Paddle event at Cambridge Ontario.

Not a WCA event, but a worthy cause and a good intro area for moving water.

On July 22, 2018 I will be joining Surf Cambridge at their inaugural event to raise funds for the development of a paddling destination at Mill Race Park at the Park Hill rd. Cambridge, Ontario.

This is almost 50 years to the day when I first started paddling on the Grand River at Elora Gorge.

So new to paddling or an "older" paddler like me come on out and join me and support this great project.

Paddling has allowed me to represent Canada at 3 world Championships and paddle in many amazing places around Canada and the world.
It has allowed me to develop long lasting friendships around the world.

16 Mile (Oakville Creek) April 27,

For those that may be interested in 16 Mile Creek if we get more good spring rains.
Be aware there are several really ugly log jams and sweepers. (we had to carry around 3, and several others we were able to work around.)
Also the Giant Hogsweed is out and growing, it s very thick in some areas of the creek banks.
Link to our trip down 16 Mile Creek yesterday.
There are a few very ugly tree jams and Giant Hogsweed is out!
