Join me for a fall run of the Lower Petawawa River, from Lake Travers to Lake McManus. We will take in the splendour of the fall colours while we paddle down the river, with cooler temperatures and few bugs! Expect lower water levels at this time of year.

Itinerary
Itinerary description

Sunday, 6 October: Meet up at Achray Campground, spend night there.
Monday, 7 October: Boats/Gear drop at Travers. Shuttle most vehs to McManus. Spend night on Lake Travers
Tuesday, 8 October: Paddle to Crooked Chute.
Wednesday, 9 October: Paddle to The Natch; Hike trail to top.
Thursday, 10 October: Paddle to Whitson Lake
Friday, 11 October: Paddle to McManus; take out.

Required Items to Bring

Whitewater tripping canoe, camping gear, unpin kits, first aid kits.
Weather appropriate clothing/equipment.

We are going to have a couple of planning meetings over Zoom. Once the group is confirmed, I will send out an email setting a date and time for the first meeting.

I will take care of all the bookings required at Achray and interior permits. Costs and deposit to be discussed at first planning meeting.
