Itinerary description

Saturday August 29  - Lower Mad Day Trip 

9:30 am - Meet at Paddler Co Op, ready to depart for shuttle  [for those that arrive Friday night, great if you can consolidate boats and people ahead of time into fewer cars]

10:15 - unload at Aumond Bay 

11:30 - run shuttle and back to Buck Bay 

3-4 hours on the water

5:00 - back at Paddler Co Op

Camp at Paddler Co Op (make your own reservations & bring your own dinner)

 

Sunday August 30 - Palmer Rapids 

This is flexible, but I'll aim to be on the water 9-12 for a couple laps, then head home

Required Items to Bring

Boat and other paddling gear.  Rentals available at Paddler Co OP

Helmet and boat flotation are mandatory 

Camping gear if spending the night at the co-op

Recommended Items to Bring

Throw bag, de-pin kit, first aid kit

Lunch on the water for Lower Mad day

If you have roof rack extenders & extra straps to carry multiple boats, that is helpful for shuttle purposes if we have a big group
