Whitby Lynde Marsh and Lake Ontario shoreline explore. You will be surprised on what you will see on this urban adventure. No canoe, no partner, NO PROBLEM. I will attempt to team up folks.

Itinerary
Itinerary description: 

10 AM departure.
So come 15-30 minutes to get ready

We will start at the Whitby beach parking area. It's about a 250 meter portage from parking area to the lake. We will paddle along Lake Ontario for about a 1 km and then enter the Lynde Marsh and explore around for an hour or so. Then return to the lake and head down the shoreline to find a nice place for a shoreline lunch break. Then paddle back to our put in spot for say 2 PM.

Required Items to Bring: 

Canoe and related safety gear
Paddle and PFD.

Recommended Items to Bring: 

Water, lunch, sunscreen, rain gear, etc.

Meet at this parking lot at 9:30-10:00 AM
Once you sign up I will provide you directions.

Carpool Info: 

None planned. But contact me if you need a lift. The Whitby GO Train station is only 2 km away from the putin spot. We can arrange a pick up if required.
