What is shown on this page is the appearance of a large graphic image at the top of the page. Since all pages will have a large banner image in the page header, any image posted at the top of a page would create the appearance of graphic over-use.
If it is determined that an additional image would be useful or necessary, it would be better if that image is place near the bottom of the visible page without a scroll. Also, the image would be ideally placed at the right of the page, away from the navigation bar.
If some images are necessary for explanation purposes, they should be placed further down the page, after some text and should be as small as functionally possible.
