Graphic Presentation Two

This page is for demonstration purposes only.

For most purposes, any image that is posted on our web site should be used in a subtle manner.  Over-use of graphics can be distracting and create visual overload.

Some good locations for additional graphics could be on introductory or promotional pages, such as the Home Page, or an About Page.  Additionally, a page that provides instruction, such as paddling strokes, can have some strategically placed images to help with the explanation.

Beyond our promotional pages, most pages on the WCA website are functional, providing useful information for our members.  We would not require graphics for outing, bulletins, or utility pages.

Improper use of graphics can make the website appear cluttered.  We want to have a clean look to the website, so we should be careful before we decide to add an image just because it looked good at the time.
