Spring Beginnings for Beginners

Outing Type →

UPDATE MAY 3: Our trip is now full again...fingers crossed for some warm, dry weather and no bugs!!!

We will leave Toronto on Friday morning and head North. We should be on the water by 1 and will paddle and portage into Buzzard Lake for our first night. Day two we will travel through Vixen to Shark Lake, where we will stay for 2 nights. On our day off, we will go for a day trip into Sawmill Lake. On day 4 we will travel back into Buzzard Lake where we will spend our last night. On Tuesday morning we will paddle out and head back to Toronto... The lakes are not too big and the portages are fairly flat. The park is lovely! The weather could range from literally cold to hot! There may or may not be any bugs present!!!
