Saugeen River - 3 day trip

Outing Type →

Update March 22, 2019
Regarding personal issues, and quite a few people doing another trip instead, i have decided to cancel this trip for now.
My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Happy Paddling to you all

Beginner trip on river. Yes there are swifts and moving water, but it is very mild. An excellent way to learn how to read a river, where to look for rocks swifts and obstacles. Have done this trip 20 years with young kids and senior citizen and it has always been fun. Have done it always on the long weekend in May, but also in the middle of the summer. And have done it when it was snowing or very hot all on the same weekend. It is a great start of the year to try out all your gear and get ready for summer longer trips.
