Lake Superior Voyageaur Canoe Trip

We will be paddling in a 36' voyageur canoe from Agawa Bay up to Michipicoten Bay. This is a 6 day trip with an experienced guide. All meals will be supplied as part of the trip.

Itinerary
Itinerary description

We will be arriving at Naturally Superior Adventures' Rock Island Lodge on Michipicoten Bay on Friday July 1st by 04:00 PM for a meet and greet and pre-trip briefing. We have booked the Lodge that evening for meals and accommodations for the group. We will be shuttled down to Agawa Bay for the put-in on Saturday the 2nd. We will then work our way back up the coast arriving at Rock Island Lodge on Thursday the 7th. We have meals and the lodge booked for that evening. We will head home on the Friday.

Required Items to Bring

All camping equipment including tents and sleeping bags etc.
Cutlery and dishes will be supplied but bring your favourite coffee mug.
PFDs and paddles will be supplied for those who do not bring their own.

Recommended Items to Bring

The Lake is very cold so the nights will be cool. Bring a good sleeping bag.
There is a very good chance of rain. GOOD rain gear is a must.
Sun screen is a must on sunny days out on the open lake.
This is bug country. Bug repellant is a good idea.
