Beaver Creek, Lower Black River, Upper Black River

Outing Type →

Paddle Beaver Creek on Friday, Lower Black on Saturday and Upper Black on Sunday. Join us on any of these beautiful scenic Kawarthas whitewater rivers. We take our time at the put-in, and allow extra time for scouting, dragging or portaging, as well as time-out for spotting wildlife. Hopefully the weather will co-operate. Itinerary
Itinerary description

We do take time for scouting or portaging the more difficult rapids. These rivers require competent river maneouvring in C2-3 rapids in a couple of locations, though water levels should be easing off by April 22-24. There will be some portaging, and scouting can be difficult.
