Excellent trip for beginners to learn how to trip for multiple days and to learn how to read a river.
the Saugeen has some moving water, mostly just ripples, no rapids to speak off
Ive done this trip multiple years in Snow and in Hot weather but always on Victoria
Day weekend,. So be prepared for all kinds of fun challenges.

Itinerary

Itinerary description:

Saturday
meet up in Lobies Park in Walkerton - do the shuttle, lunch, and have a fun start with bluffs and ripples
Stay overnight on Crown Land between 3rd and 4th bridge on Peninsula hopefuly

Sunday From Peninsula to Saugeen Bluffs Conservation Area. Lunch in Paisley, either ice cream or Fries depending on the temperature

Monday from Saugeen Bluffs to South Hampton, Lunch under the Port Elgin Bridge and then see if the Bald Eagle is there with young again
