Good Morning,
I am looking to expand my canoe tripping, and realize that my small group of long time paddle-mates will not be able to do so.
I am interested in trips of all sorts. Fishing, to me is a large component of any canoe outing. I am very well equipped, experienced & tend not to be a burden on a trip. I have excess gear/canoes to share, and am willing to do most anything.
I live in Massachusetts, and have historically paddled on trips within 8-10 hours driving. This gets me to Southern/central Ontario, (Algonquin & North), Quebec (Verendrye & North), as well as northern Maine & Upstate NY.
I get to Maine several times per year, paddling St. John, St. Croix, Allagash, etc...
Would love to trip in Labrador, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, as well as a bucket list trip to Woodlands Caribou.
I am also interested in meeting/joining up with others to create trips well off the beaten path. Exploration, navigation, and difficult/non-existent portages make trips memorable to me.
Having read Black Spruce Journals, and Kevin Callahan's lost Canadian canoe routes, I relish the opportunity to refind them.
Sorry for the long post.
