Gibson and Severn River Loop

Join me on this 4 day, 3 night canoe adventure. The route takes us through a little bit of everything; cottage country and rough Canadian Shield wilderness areas in the Gravenhurst area. Members with overnight fall camping and canoeing experience capable of completing the route at a steady pace of 4-5kph, capable of one shot portages.

Itinerary
Itinerary description: 

Approx. 60 km total, multiple short portages and a few bush crashes of a few hundred meters each, a few cliffs and waterfalls, normal stuff.
Friday morning meet up at Nine Mile Marina Parking lot 10 AM. Paddle to a wilderness camp on the Gibson river.
Saturday; Down the Gibson River to Six Mile Lake. Camp in wilderness section of the river.
Sunday; Up the Severn River to a small lake off the beaten path.
Monday; Return to the marina
