Trip Planning

I need help planning a Rideau Canal trip with overnights spent at B&B's. It should be doable but info about this is hard to find. Which B&B's are within a reasonable "portage" from the waterway, and how welcoming they would be of people hauling canoes? Any information on routes or recommended B&B's would be much appreciated.

6 of us are planning a trip down the Moisie River this August 2021.
I would love to talk to anyone who has run this river in recent years.
We might include another canoe pair if they were experienced white water paddlers.

The Kongakut River flows from the north slopes of the Brooks Range to the Beaufort Sea, through the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. A group of 5 experienced tripping friends seek a sixth to join their self-guided rafting trip. 12 days planned on-river for what is probably only 4-5 days of paddling so lots of time for backpacking/hiking/fishing.
Group arrives in Fairbanks on June 29/30. Bush plane to Drain Creek put-in is July 3rd. Take-out at Caribou Pass is July 16th (weather permitting of course).

Looking for a paddler and hiker with a drysuit, a high tolerance for clouds of mosquitoes, no stranger to camp chores and a great sense of humour.
